Located in Salford Quays the Lowry is neighbour to Media City and just 10 minutes on the tram from St Peters Square.

The Lowry has two large theatre spaces, 2 art galleries a bar and excellent restaurant. There is a permanent exhbibtion of L.S Lowry's work in one galleries while the other space is used for short term exhibitions.

Opened in 2000 with a remit to bring together a wide variety of performing and visual arts under one roof, which it certainly has done.
