Stockport’s oldest town house, Staircase House is one of Stockport’s hidden gems offering visitors a hands on, barrier-free historical journey exploring how our ancestors lived from the 15th to the 20th centuries.
The House is also home to one of only three surviving Jacobean cage-newel staircases in the country.
Opening times:
Tuesday to Friday: 1pm - 5pm
Saturday: 10am - 5pm
Sundays & Bank Holidays: 11am - 5pm
